Kipp Brothers Product Safety
Kipp Brothers takes product safety seriously, and we are committed to ensuring our products are safe for their intended use and comply with applicable laws and regulations. We understand your concerns, and you can be assured that our products go through rigorous safety testing that meets or exceeds all national safety standards. Of exceptional concern are our children’s products that comply with the safety requirements of the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA). These products are tested by CPSC-accepted and accredited laboratories.
Proposition 65, also known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, was an initiative approved by California voters that addressed growing concerns about exposure to certain chemicals. Kipp Brothers complies with California state regulations and works closely with our vendors to ensure product materials are safe for use. If it’s possible a product contains any of the over 900 chemicals covered in Proposition 65, or if a vendor does not provide Proposition 65 test results, we issue warnings in our catalogs, on our website, and on product packaging for those products so we may continue to serve our California customers. This list is an ever-growing list that is added to at least once per year. Our product inventories can span longer than a year. In an effort to stay compliant with California law, we have chosen to notify consumers ongoing by adding this warning to our products. You should notice this from any company selling their products in the state of California. Please know that Kipp Brothers always has our customer’s safety top of mind in all our product development and production.
